Bradley Food Pantry - Summer Beach Fest
Bocce Tournament and Cornhole Tournament - Two fun events on one great day!
Step 1 - Registration - Each 2-person team registers with a $100 fee for admission. The primary focus of this benefit event is to fundraise and create social awareness on behalf of the Bradley Food Pantry. Each team is requested to raise an additional $250 per team with a Fundraiser page for peer solicitation and donations.
Step 2 - Build Your Fundraiser Page - Once you have paid the $100 event registration fee, you will receive an email reply (within minutes) with confirmation of your payment and a clickable link to set up your personal fundraising page. Complete the team information with a team name. If you would like to upload a picture of your team, you will be asked to do so. Otherwise, click the "Continue" box. An email will ask you will be asked to verify your email address and a final email when you set up your fundraising page to verify your account, and provide you with your personal fundraising page URL. (The steps are required to ensure that all donations are secure.)
- Click on the link, to 1) add your team’s name (required) and 2) set your team fundraising goal and formally create your team. (The default is set to $250)
- We are delighted by whatever you can raise and do not hold you accountable to this goal.
- Once you complete this information, you will receive a confirmation email that you have successfully created your team.
Step 3 - Soliciting for Donations –
Once you received your unique, personal fundraising page URL, you can share your URL with others which will give them an easy way to support team, and ultimately, the Bradley Food Pantry.

- We've made it easy for participants by creating a pre-written donation email on your behalf which carries a common Bradley Food Pantry message of support. You can append this template email in your outreach to friends, relatives and neighbors. The request is to make a donation for whatever level a donor can afford! Donation range selection includes support levels from $10 to $1000.

- Donations are all credit card payments. No money handling by the participants!
EVENT FORMAT
Bocce - will utilize all four courts on Ocean Avenue. The event will field a maximum of 16 teams and this will be a single elimination format. Given time after bracket play, the eliminated teams can resume friendly play on the open courts.
Cornhole - will have 16 sets of cornhole boards on the Main Lawn adjacent to the bocce courts. The event will be a double elimination format for all 32 teams. As bracket play narrows in latter rounds, the double eliminated teams are welcome to play "friendly games" on the open cornhole boards.
Prizes – we will have prizes for the 1st and 2nd place team in each of Bocce and Cornhole!
Post Event Activity - Erratic Fermentations
Erratic Fermentations has agreed to host a post event gathering. Erratic Fermentations is located at 714 Main Street in Bradley Beach and will provide a beverage of choice to each participant with a bracelet. Pizza will accompany the social gathering. Pantry volunteers and participant friends are welcome but will not receive a beverage bracelet. They may purchase on their own.
